Beyond the Candle: What Volumetrica Adds to Futures Trading

· 3 min read

Switch between TradingView and DeepCharts to explore futures through familiar charts, volume and order-flow data.

In this post, you'll learn how:

  • Volumetrica expands your choice of futures trading platforms;

  • TradingView and DeepCharts offer two different ways to analyse the same market;

  • Footprint, Volume Profile and Delta add context to a price candle;

  • Horizon Futures adds a one-step evaluation available on Volumetrica.

One platform, two ways to read the market

Volumetrica joins DXtrade in our futures platform lineup, giving you another way to access and analyse the market.

Inside Volumetrica Web, you can choose between TradingView and DeepCharts and switch between them depending on what you need.

TradingView provides the familiar charting environment many traders already know. If your analysis is built around price action, indicators and a traditional chart layout, you can continue working in a familiar space.

DeepCharts goes further into the volume and order flow behind each move. It helps you examine what happened inside a candle instead of seeing only where the price opened, closed and travelled.

What DeepCharts adds to a price candle

A standard candle summarises a period of market movement. It shows the open, high, low and close, but it does not show how trading activity was distributed between those prices.

DeepCharts adds that missing context through three important tools:

  • Footprint shows how much trading occurred at individual price levels and separates activity at the bid and ask.

  • Volume Profile highlights the price levels where trading activity was concentrated.

  • Delta shows the difference between buying and selling activity.

These tools do not replace your trading strategy or tell you where the market will move next. They give you more information about how a move developed and where market participation was strongest.

TradingView or DeepCharts?

You do not have to choose one view permanently.

Use TradingView when you want a familiar workspace for analysing price structure, indicators and setups.

Switch to DeepCharts when you want to examine order flow, volume distribution or the activity behind a specific candle or price level.

The useful part is having both available inside the same web platform. You can begin with the wider market structure and then move into more detailed volume analysis without changing platforms.

Use Volumetrica across your devices

Volumetrica Web works on Windows and macOS without requiring an installation.

Windows users can also download the desktop version of DeepCharts. For mobile access, the Volumetrica Prop app is available on iOS and Android.

This gives you the option to use a browser, a dedicated desktop workspace or a mobile device depending on where and how you trade.

Horizon Futures on Volumetrica

Alongside Volumetrica, we introduced Horizon Futures, a one-step evaluation available on the platform.

Account sizes range from $25,000 to $400,000.

Before choosing an account, review the current rules and trading objectives to make sure the platform and evaluation structure fit the way you trade.
