More Room, One Less Day: What's New on Vanguard

· 1 min read

Vanguard now gives you an 8% trailing drawdown and requires five trading days for a payout. The account price stays the same.

One percentage point can sound small. On an account with a trailing drawdown, it changes how much room you have before reaching the limit.

That is why we have updated Vanguard.

You now get a larger trailing drawdown and need one fewer trading day before becoming eligible for a payout.

Here's what changed:

  • 8% trailing drawdown, increased from 7%;

  • five minimum trading days, reduced from six;

  • no change to the Vanguard Instant account price.

More room around your trades

Vanguard's trailing drawdown has increased from 7% to 8%.

The limit still matters, and every trade still needs controlled risk. The difference is that your account now has more room to absorb normal market movement before reaching the drawdown threshold.

That extra room is not a reason to increase your position size. It gives an existing risk plan more space to work.

One fewer trading day for a payout

The minimum number of trading days required for a payout has been reduced from six to five.

You still need to meet the remaining payout conditions, but one fewer completed trading day is now required before you can become eligible.

Better conditions, same price

The Vanguard account price remains unchanged.

You get a larger drawdown allowance and a shorter minimum trading period without paying more for the account.

More room does not replace discipline. It simply gives a good trading plan more space to do its job.

Review the current Vanguard Instant rules before you trade and see whether the updated conditions fit the way you manage risk.
